I’m in my happy place when I’m designing repeat patterns and creating art that makes this world brighter and more joyful for you.
It’s a place that reminds me of the many hours, as a child, I sat at the coffee table with a stack of dot matrix printer paper, a brush, and an ice cube tray filled with watered-down paint. Or the Tuesdays I spent nestled beneath tables, playing with scraps of fabric at the fire hall, as my grandma and the quilters cut yards and yards of fabric overhead.
With a degree in Graphic Communications from Northern Michigan University I’ve worked eleven years as a graphic and web designer, the last seven of which have been spent running my own design business, Passage Hill Studio.
Currently I’m pursuing my passion for surface pattern design — which has me dreaming of seeing my designs on fabric, stationery, wallpaper, gift wrap, fair-trade fashions and home goods.
I’m married to a sweet farmer and we live in a little farm town in Michigan.
